Washington Post inadvertently offers evidence Trump cannot be bought

Progressives are constantly on the accusatory trail, proclaiming this or that about Republicans. One of those complaints is concerning how Republicans are “bought and sold” with the money of their donors. To a degree this is certainly true but it holds true for all politicians regardless of party.

For example, what reasonable individual could ever deny that when it comes to immigration the Republican establishment in Washington has a gold ring in its nose and is being led about by at least the Chamber of Commerce?

But naturally, since Progressives haven’t an agenda that can be persuasively argued, it doesn’t matter who the Republican is that individual is “mean”, “evil”, “greedy”, and out to kill your grandmother via stealing her Social Security and Medicare checks so she starves to death.

Except now, the Washington Post has stumbled upon a contradiction to that claim in the form of Donald J. Trump, arguably the last individual WaPo would ever wish to give succor and comfort:

These NFL owners gave Trump millions. But when he attacked their sport, they hit back.
September 24 at 7:15 PM

Of all the National Football League franchise owners, Bob McNair is probably one of President Trump’s most generous donors.

The Houston Texans owner donated $2 million in 2016 to a pro-Trump super PAC. He is also among the eight NFL team owners who collectively doled out millions of dollars for Trump’s inauguration, helping the New York billionaire raise an unprecedented $107 million in inaugural contributions.

Now, McNair has joined a chorus of NFL owners in calling out the president for deriding players who protest during the national anthem. Trump used profane language when he disparaged protesting players during a political rally on Friday in Alabama. He doubled down on his verbal attacks over the weekend, calling on NFL owners to fire or suspend players who protest, encouraging fans to boycott games and claiming that attendance and ratings are “WAY DOWN.”

When was the last time you heard the Republican Washington establishment class criticize the Chamber of Commerce?

When was the last time you heard Nancy Pelosi or Chuck Schumer criticize Antifa?

RE: TheStupidItHurts: The Liability of Liberalism

Continuing with the theme in the original post below, i.e., the danger inherent with choosing to vote for Marxist Democrats in positions of government; I did some research to accompany the interesting evidence of how much violence has ensued in the form of mass shootings since Obama (a disciple of Saul Alinsky) was elected to power in 2008.

Read more about that here: http://www.thestupidithurts.org/2016/07/14/216/

Now keep in mind when one is elected to a government office, one would naturally place friends, or at the very least, like-minded individuals in positions of power around one. This is only natural of course. Whether you’re a faith-based Command and Control Marxist or an evidentiary-based Freedom Loving Capitalist you believe in what you believe. A conservative will likely place other conservatives in positions of power around him. Similarly, an Alinskyite, Marxist Liberal like Barack Obama will do the same. This truism, I would argue, should be kept in the forefront of your mind when you go to the voting booth.

Do you want to be responsible for voting for your own destruction? Do you want to be responsible for voting for Marxist Democrats that have as their sole goal the transformation of your nation from Free Market Capitalism to Command and Control Marxism/Communism/Totalitarianism, i.e., modern Liberalism?

If you like how the last 8 years have gone in your nation, then you should have a candidate for voting Marxist Democrat again in November. If you don’t, well then, you have only one other choice.

If you don’t like either choice I’m with you. But then you have the obligation to your fellow citizens at that point to choose the lesser of two evils. I do hope you’ll consider what happened in 2012 when some 3 – 5 million irrational individuals, a tiny minority of the population, chose not to vote for Romney in order to preserve a particularly contradictory self-righteous belief that it was better to elect the greater of two evils rather than the lesser. This of course, is lunacy simply as a matter of common sense.

A nuclear Iran, dead police officers, violence, strife, mayhem and countless other sins are laid directly on the heads of these persons. Don’t be like them. Think about it rationally.

So, below are the top 10 cities out of 100 that are the most violent, murderous cities in the United States as of 2015:

What I did was go through the top 10 and identify to which political party the leadership of each city belongs. Then, just to be thorough, I went back +/- 20 years to find out which political party has been in power in those respective cities. I may go further as time and desire permits. It would seem an interesting point is made in just these examples alone.

What do you think I found? Which political party is in power in each of the top 10 murderous, violent cities in the United States for 2015? And then how long has that political party been in power over the past +/- 20 years?

If you said, “Democrat”, you’d be correct.

Now in certain instances it was impossible to confirm that an individual was a Democrat. Where that was the case such is noted.

But what are we to make of this as rational individuals? If the top 10 murderous, violent and crime-ridden cities in the US are run by Democrats, what are we to think?

Do you believe Liberal Democrats want peace in the nation? If you believe it, why do you believe it? The evidence certainly seems to suggest that’s not the case whether we look at the Democrat party in Washington or locally.

Who will save us from Democrat Alinskyite Marxist Liberals? Who is the only One who can change the very deepest inward hearts of men?

TheStupidItHurts: Grieving for Gain

Grievance politics dominates the Democrat Alinskyite Liberal methodology for moving America further and further toward the misery of Socialism, Communism, Marxism, i.e., Liberalism. In all its various forms Authoritarian Liberalism, whether Marxist, Socialist, Communist, etc., is the same no matter what flavor of Statism is being served up for we the people to choke upon.

See Saul Alinsky’s 12 rules for radicals. The current Democrat in the White House is a disciple and one-time teacher of Alinsky’s methods:

  1. “Power is not only what you have, but what the enemy thinks you have.” Power is derived from 2 main sources – money and people. “Have-Nots” must build power from flesh and blood.
  2. “Never go outside the expertise of your people.” It results in confusion, fear and retreat. Feeling secure adds to the backbone of anyone.
  3. “Whenever possible, go outside the expertise of the enemy.” Look for ways to increase insecurity, anxiety and uncertainty.
  4. “Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.” If the rule is that every letter gets a reply, send 30,000 letters. You can kill them with this because no one can possibly obey all of their own rules.
  5. “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.” There is no defense. It’s irrational. It’s infuriating. It also works as a key pressure point to force the enemy into concessions.
  6. “A good tactic is one your people enjoy.” They’ll keep doing it without urging and come back to do more. They’re doing their thing, and will even suggest better ones.
  7. “A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag.” Don’t become old news.
  8. “Keep the pressure on. Never let up.” Keep trying new things to keep the opposition off balance. As the opposition masters one approach, hit them from the flank with something new.
  9. “The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself.” Imagination and ego can dream up many more consequences than any activist.
  10. “The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition.” It is this unceasing pressure that results in the reactions from the opposition that are essential for the success of the campaign.
  11. “If you push a negative hard enough, it will push through and become a positive.” Violence from the other side can win the public to your side because the public sympathizes with the underdog.
  12. “The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative.” Never let the enemy score points because you’re caught without a solution to the problem.
  13. “Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.” Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions.

Rule #1. Make it seem like you, the Democrat Liberal, is the majority of the population when you’re really nothing because most reasonable individuals aren’t so stupid as you are to bleet along helping your Liberal leaders to enslave you…just like sheep to the slaughter.

Check out rules 2 and 3:

Per rule 2, going outside the expertise of your people results in confusion, fear and retreat so don’t do that. Per rule 3, however, always go outside the expertise of “the enemy” to look for ways to increase anxiety, insecurity and uncertainty. Who is the “enemy”? Did you know Democrat Liberals consider you an enemy if you don’t subscribe to their brand of political authoritarianism?

The non-Democrat Alinsky Liberal is the enemy folks. That means YOU. Do you believe the Democrat party is about peace? Do you believe Obama is interested in promoting peace? If you do, why do you believe it? The empirical evidence certainly points to the opposite conclusion wouldn’t you say?

George Soros and other rich Liberals are funding Marxist groups like Black Lives Matter and paying other individuals to do things like protest, e.g., in Ferguson MO and elsewhere.

“Evidence?”, you say? I’m so glad you asked! Check out these few examples of many I found doing a quick search of Cleveland’s (the site of the Republican convention) craigslist under jobs > nonprofit.

Want to make some money being a “community organizer”, i.e., a grievance group, a protestor, someone who beats up people at Trump rallies?

You Liberals want to get paid to complain? At least you’ll have a job.

Want to get paid to further Marxism in your own country, you stupid moron?

TheStupidItHurts: Implementing Saul Alinsky

Do you believe Liberals wish to unify the nation? Do you believe that Liberals wish for there to be peace, prosperity and happiness in the nation?

Is there peace, prosperity and happiness in Venezuela? Is there peace, prosperity and happiness in China? Is there peace, prosperity and happiness in Russia?

Remember Vladimir Lenin:

We must be ready to employ trickery, deceit, law-breaking, withholding and concealing truth… We can and must write in a language which sows among the masses hate, revulsion, and scorn toward those who disagree with us.”

*If peace, prosperity and happiness comes to the nation there’s no need for Liberals. Without the need for Liberals they lose their power. Without their power they have no authority, without their authority they can no longer force the citizenry to break their backs building the Liberals their pyramids, sewing their beautiful robes, outfitting them in their fine jewels, and making them fat with the finest foods while YOU, the citizen, humbly begs for crumbs from their table.

Liberals proclaim to you they are for YOU the common man. They proclaim to you they “feel” your pain, oh you who are poor and struggling.

Indeed they do feel your pain but the only time they do is when they lift their glasses of $1000 per bottle wine that your back was broken to provide for them in their fine penthouse apartments.*

Did you know Vladimir Putin is worth somewhere between $40,000,000,000,000 (that’s forty BILLION) and 200 BILLION dollars?  Do you think he earned those billions on his own or did he earn his riches like Bobby Rush did, or Harry Reid did, or Hillary Clinton did?

How Obama has implemented Alinsky’s tactics of social revolution to tear a city – and a nation – apart.

If the late Saul Alinsky—the America-hating godfather of community organizing—had fathered a black son, he’d look like Barack Obama.[1]  Obama has embraced, revered, and employed Alinsky’s philosophy and tactics of social revolution for decades. Indeed, he even taught Alinsky’s methods in community-organizing workshops and seminars in Chicago, when he was a much younger Marxist. As we witness the continuing racial unrest sparked by the shooting of Michael Brown and the Ferguson grand jury’s subsequent decision not to indict Officer Darren Wilson, it is vital to understand that everything the protesters/rioters are doing—in Ferguson and elsewhere—is straight out of Alinsky’s most famous publications, Rules For Radicals and Reveille For Radicals. And Obama has encouraged them, every step of the way.

Obama and Alinsky never actually met in person, as Alinsky died when Obama was just 11 years old. Happily for the future president, by that time he had already been introduced to the man who would mentor him throughout his adolescent years—the America-hating, pro-Soviet, pro-Stalin, Communist writer Frank Marshall Davis. Thus, when Obama eventually encountered Alinsky through the latter’s writings, the young community organizer was well prepared ideologically to soak up Alinsky’s message.

In his quest to cultivate the type of chaos that would spark social revolution against America’s capitalist system, Alinsky exhorted activists to constantly “rub raw the resentments of the people” and “fan the latent hostilities to the point of overt expression”—but to do this in measured tones, so as not to “scare off” middle-class Americans.

Thus did Obama dutifully and blandly call for “unity” and calm in the immediate aftermath of Michael Brown’s “heartbreaking and tragic” death, even as he repeatedly reminded us that: “police should not be bullying or arresting” anyone without cause; “in too many communities, too many young men of color are left behind and left as objects to fear”; “there is no excuse for excessive force by police”; “the justice gap” between whites and nonwhites is unacceptable; “the criminal-justice system doesn’t treat people of all races equally”; and “too many young men of color feel targeted by law enforcement, guilty of walking while black, or driving while black, judged by stereotypes that fuel fear and resentment and hopelessness.” And when the grand jury in Ferguson subsequently chose not to indict Darren Wilson because the officer obviously had shot Michael Brown in self-defense, Obama pronounced the black community’s indignation to be “an understandable reaction.”

Obama’s carefully chosen words—all delivered in the type of nonthreatening tenor advocated by Saul Alinsky—clearly communicated a single, foundational theme to African Americans: In the racist cesspool known as the United States, black people are routinely treated like second-class citizens, if not subhumans. Oh, and by the way, please remain calm. Wink, wink.

Alinsky also taught that in some cases activists must be completely willing—for the sake of the moral principles in whose name they profess to act—to turn up the proverbial heat and watch society descend into chaos and anarchy; to “go into a state of complete confusion and draw [their] opponent into the vortex of the same confusion.” “Wherever possible,” Alinsky counseled, “go outside the experience of the enemy. Here you want to cause confusion, fear, and retreat.”

Mobs of shouting protesters can accomplish that objective quite effectively—even if, as in the present case, they are oblivious to the irony that the poster-child of their crusade is a multiple felon who tried unsuccessfully to murder a police officer. Such demonstrations tend to give onlookers the impression that a mass movement is not only well underway, but may actually be preparing to shift into an even higher gear at any moment. A “mass impression,” said Alinsky, can be lasting and intimidating. Thus did President Obama recently meet at the White House with Al Sharpton, his leading advisor on race-related matters, and other protest leaders from Ferguson, urging them to “stay on course” with their activism.

Yet another highly noteworthy observation by Alinsky was this: “Power is not only what you have but what the enemy thinks you have.” “The threat,” he explained, “is usually more terrifying than the thing itself.” Thus, “if your organization is small in numbers,… raise a din and clamor that will make the listener believe that your organization numbers many more than it does.”

This can be well achieved by orchestrating a host of simultaneous demonstrations in multiple cities or venues, exactly as the highly organized Gentle Giant crusade has been doing. The stature of these rallies is magnified by the fact that they receive lots of media attention, while scores of millions of ordinary Americans who view them with contempt and dread are busy quietly going about their lives, caring for their families, working at their jobs, and pursuing their personal aspirations as they see fit. Such people are many thousands of times more numerous than the perpetually aggrieved rabble-rousers of the Left, but Alinsky understood—as Obama understands today—that a spraying skunk inevitably gets all the attention when it intrudes unexpectedly upon a picnic.

The America-hating Alinsky also taught that activists, in order to cast themselves as defenders of high-minded principles, must theatrically convey “shock, horror, and moral outrage” whenever any of their demands—however inconsequential—are not met. And no one conveys such emotions more convincingly than Obama’s aforementioned racial “advisor,” Al Sharpton, who vows to continue the Michael Brown/anti-police brutality crusade until the end of time if necessary. Alinsky understood quite well that even a pathetic moral degenerate like Sharpton can be an effective revolutionary if he is skilled in the otherwise worthless arts of bluster and righteous indignation.

Lest anyone think there might be a way to bridge the gap between civil society and the revolutionaries in the vanguard of the current Gentle Giant Brigades, a dose of reality is in order: Alinsky emphasized that the overarching objective of any crusade is never to promote peace or reconciliation, but rather to be unwaveringly “dedicated to an eternal war” in which “there are no rules of fair play” and “no compromise” whatsoever; to mercilessly “pulverize” people with “fear”; and ultimately to “force their capitulation.”

We got a glimpse of this mindset recently when we learned that two New Black Panther Party members were plotting not only to blow up St. Louis’s famed Gateway Arch, but also to assassinate Ferguson police chief Tom Jackson and the city’s prosecuting attorney Bob McCulloch. And a shrieking Louis Farrakhan, for his part, has been busy urging black Americans to throw Molotov cocktails at white people in order to fulfill a scriptural “law of retaliation”; condemning whites for allegedly “killing us” in large numbers; and warning that “we’ll tear this goddamn country up!”

Like all Marxists, Obama, Sharpton, Farrakhan, and the rest of their fellow revolutionaries seek to tear society apart by pitting the “races,” the “classes,” and the “genders” against one another—“rubbing raw” their respective “resentments” until hatred abounds in every person’s heart and mayhem fills the streets. Michael Brown’s corpse is merely a building block for these rabble rousers. They know that someday another African American will be killed by a white police officer and thus be anointed as their movement’s next martyred saint. Bit by bit, the inconvenient fact that Brown was a violent, abusive criminal whose death was brought about entirely by his own actions will be airbrushed out of public memory. And the grievance mongers of the “civil rights” movement will wistfully remember him as just another innocent black victim whose life was tragically cut short by white depravity.

Saul Alinsky would be proud.

[1] In March 2012, not long after the death of Trayvon Martin in Florida, President Obama famously said: “If I had a son, he’d look like Trayvon.”

TheStupidItHurts: Oh Those Scary Skeptics!

Why are they afraid? What in the world do pro AGW proponents have to fear from AGW skeptics?

I mean, it’s clear the skeptic is nothing more than a knuckle-dragging moron, who doesn’t know his behind from a hole in the ground right? That’s what they tell us anyway?

Why not just let we skeptics talk our way into oblivion? If we’re morons, our mouths will prove it of us won’t it?

So what do we make of the massively funded PR efforts by the pro AGW priesthood to silence a tiny group of illiterate, moron scientists and think-tanks who should never have had their various doctoral theses confirmed in the first place?

Do you see me, a conservative Christian, arguing for Democrat Liberal atheists to be shut up via rule of law, to have their ability to speak their mind squashed under threat of lawsuit? Am I proposing Liberal groups be investigated by the IRS to bully them into submission as Liberals have done? Do you see me proposing that University systems shut off debate and discussion for those who disagree with me?

No, you don’t. But then I’m not afraid of them either. They are afraid of little ‘ole nothing me for some reason. Deathly afraid.

And they’re afraid of you too, which is the reason they want to shut skeptics up. They’re afraid of you having the opportunity through skeptics to look at the evidence for yourself, to review the arguments for yourself and they’re afraid if you have the opportunity to do that you’ll do what any thinking man who carefully considers what he believes to be true before he believes it would do.

They’re afraid you’ll go out on your own to places where the information disseminated isn’t controlled and vetted first through them.

But that just shouldn’t be if they aren’t lying to me in the first place should it?

What’s wrong?

Why are they afraid?

A threat from University College, London over a climate skeptic conference.

Guest opinion by Christopher Monckton of Brenchley

University College, London, one of the constituent colleges of what was once a respectable and serious academic institution, has declared open, vicious war on academic freedom. In doing so, it has forfeited the right to be taken seriously as a seat of learning.

Last month Professor John Butterworth, the useless bureaucrat in charge of the College’s department of Physics and Astronomy, learned – no doubt via the coven of paid hacks who routinely menace vice-chancellors and heads of department at any university at which those of us who ask questions about “settled” science are scheduled to speak – that one of his faculty, Profess Athem Alsabti, had booked a lecture theatre for a conference on the forbidden topic of climate change on 8-9 September.

Did Professor Butterworth react as the Vice-Chancellor of Louisiana State University had reacted a couple of years ago when the Professor of Economics there had invited me to give a lecture to his faculty on mitigation economics, whereupon he, the Dean of his Faculty and the Vice-Chancellor had been subjected to weeks of threatening letters and phone calls from this poisonous, over-funded PR machine?

The Vice-Chancellor, after receiving one nasty threat too many, called in the Professor of Economics and said, “The last time I looked, this university was committed to academic freedom. The lecture is to go ahead. No doubt those on campus who disagree with Lord Monckton will feel free to attend his lecture and raise questions. That is how science advances. We hear both sides. We are proud to do so. Come one, come all!”

When I arrived down south to give my lecture, the Professor of Economics, hopping nervously from one foot to the other, said he had had the worst few weeks of his academic career. Yet he was delighted that his university was still one of the few that heard both sides of an academic discussion and not just the currently fashionable dogma. He was proud of his Vice-Chancellor, and rightly so.

The true-believers and freedom-haters, as they increasingly do, simply stayed away. None dared to turn up and ask what they hoped might be difficult questions. They now know they are in the wrong scientifically and still more in the wrong economically. Instead, those who came (it was a packed house) wanted to learn, and there were several intelligent and constructive questions after my lecture. Everyone had a good time.

Did Professor Butterworth stand up to the totalitarian bullies when they tried to do to his university what they had tried to do to Louisiana State and countless others? Um, no. This is what – to his eternal shame – he wrote to his distinguished academic colleague Professor Alsabti:

“It has been brought to my attention that you have booked a room at University College, London, for an external conference in September for a rather fringe group discussing aspects of climate science.

“If this event were to go ahead at UCL, it would generate a great deal of strong feeling, indeed it already has, as members of the UCL community are expressing concern to me that we are giving a platform to speakers who deny anthropogenic climate change while flying in the face of accepted scientific methods. I am sure you have no desire to bring UCL into disrepute, or to cause dissension in the UCL community, and I would encourage you to think about moving the event to a different venue, not on UCL premises.”

The same day, Professor Alsabti, who felt menaced and degraded by this shameless and unprincipled bullying and harassment on the part of a senior academic who should have known better, canceled the booking.

Now, who are the members of this “rather fringe group” that might have caused the “UCL community” to go into the corner, turn its back to the room, suck its thumb and blub?

They include not only Professor Alsabti but also Professor Nils-Axel Mörner, who has published more refereed papers on sea-level rise than Professor Butterworth has had hot dinners; Professor Ole Humlum of the University of Oslo, who publishes a widely-circulated monthly data update on global temperatures and related matters; Professor Jan-Erik Solheim of Norway; members of the Swedish Polar Institute, of the Asociacion Rural de Paraguay; of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, of the U.S. Geological Survey; of the U.S. National Aeronautics and Space Administration; the former president of the Italian National Research Council; the Professor of Paleobotany at the Sapienza University, Rome; a world-leading physicist from the François Rabelais University in Tours; an analytical expert from the Laboratoire Analyse at the University of Paris; the brother of the leader of Her Majesty’s Opposition in the House of Commons; dozens of doctors of science; and a sprinkling of IPCC expert reviewers, including your humble servant.

If this is a “rather fringe group”, then the academic mainstream must – as many of us have long suspected – have been reduced to a thin, dreich, terrified, narrow, narrow-minded, insignificant trickle, confined deep within the gloomy and inspissate canyon of its own no doubt profitable but increasingly discredited prejudice.

Will Professor Butterworth ever pay heed to the inexorably-growing evidence that the world is warming at a rate many times below the central estimate predicted with “substantial confidence” by IPCC in 1990? That temperature feedbacks are net-negative? That the CO2 radiative forcing has been overestimated? That the Sun has something to do with the climate, while CO2 has little to do with it? That sea level is barely rising? That global ice loss is barely significant? That hurricanes hardly ever happen? That droughts are declining? That the cost of mitigation today is orders of magnitude greater than that of adaptation the day after tomorrow? That tens if not hundreds of millions have died because the billions of dollars that could and should have been spent on building coal-fired power stations to give them life-saving electricity have instead been squandered on lavish taxpayer subsidies to ineffectual, muddle-minded, academic profiteers of doom, and to the installation of over-priced 13th-century solutions to an overstated 21st-century non-problem?

For as long as places like University College, London, are allowed to gobble up taxpayers’ largesse unsupervised and unscrutinized, they will continue to think it acceptable to bully and harass innocent colleagues. Professor Butterworth owes Professor Alsabti an abject apology.

Well, the London Climate Conference is going ahead notwithstanding Professor Butterworth’s intolerant and menacing attempt to stop us. It will begin at 9.00 am sharp on 8 September and 9 September 2016. Come to the Conway Hall, 25 Red Lion Square, London WC1R 4RL. This will be the most high-powered academic conference on the climate question ever to have been held in Britain, and arguably in Europe too.

Will you hear some things you are likely to disagree with? Almost certainly. Though my own presentations will be concerned strictly with mainstream science, as will nearly all of the presentations by the distinguished contributors to the conference, there will of course be some ideas that are not yet accepted, for they are too new.

How much more valuable is our open-minded approach than that of a recent climate conference that I attended in the Mathematics Department at Cambridge University, my alma mater? Nothing but regurgitated pap from IPCC. None of those present, except the handful of skeptics who got in, raised any of the scientific questions that would have been raised by active, enquiring minds in my day at the university.

Fortunately, I had the opportunity of giving a blackboard seminar on the mathematics of climate sensitivity to two of the world’s foremost mathematical logicians the following day. One found the seminar “extremely interesting”. The other, as I was reaching for the duster to wipe off the equations with which I had covered the blackboard, said, “No, no: please leave them. I want to think about this, and I want the president of the faculty to see it.”

Despite all that the totalitarians have tried to do, there are still some open minds in powerful academic positions. It is they, not the likes of the forgettable Professor Butterworth, who will carry the torch of truth to coming generations, whether the current establishment likes it or not.

The more of you come to the conference, the more you will send a clear message to academe that the money is about to run out. I have already written to the Universities Funding Council and to the official scrutineering body for universities to invite them to investigate this serious incident of professional misconduct, and to invite them to remove the Provost of the college for failing to reply to correspondence from us. No doubt he was too embarrassed.

They will do nothing, of course. But in the end, if we keep the pressure up, as the ever-widening discrepancy between prediction and observation becomes impossible to conceal, they will eventually realize that money spent on making global warming go away is money entirely wasted, and they will find something else to waste it on.

It will be an excellent conference. Be there or be square!

RE: TheStupidItHurts: The Liability of Liberalism

Now let’s go off the theme just a bit.

Instead of murderous violence when Liberals rule, what about prosperity? Does the common man benefit from greater prosperity when Liberals are at the helm of power? Can the Liberal’s in power even afford for the masses under their subjugation to experience true prosperity, the kind born from a good paying job from a thriving business in a free market environment, while the Liberal can still be voted out of office?

Or does the Liberal look to provide just enough subsistence for the common man to keep him quiet, while the Liberal enriches himself eating and drinking and making merry with other bourgeois Liberals?

Well think about it. The Marxist Democrat demagogues Capitalism as evil and instead pushes the Command/Control State as the sole means for economic production. How can the Liberal allow business to thrive, to compete, to innovate, to provide good paying jobs to the common man?

The answer is he cannot.

If the common man is prospering with a good job in a good economy, why in the world would we need the Liberal?

We wouldn’t.

And so if that reason for Liberals goes away because of economic freedom, what incentive is there for the Liberal to allow such freedom? The Liberal’s first goal is to make himself fat at the same government controlled table from which he subjugates the common man to whatever crumbs the Liberal decides to allow us to eat.

Evidence you say? I’m so glad you asked!

Which city in the nation has the highest poverty rate among major U.S. cities? That would be Philadelphia, PA.

Which political party has been ruling Philadelphia since 1952?

That would be…you guessed it…Democrat. The last year a Republican held the office of mayor in Philadelphia was 1952.

Do you know how much the current mayor of Philadelphia “earns” in salary? In the city with the highest poverty rate in the nation among major U.S. cities (according to philly.com) the mayoral salary is $198,658.

Now I don’t know about you but I smell the putrid stench of bourgeois Liberals wafting around my nostrils.

Do you believe Marxist Democrats care about you? If you do, why do you believe it? The evidence is mounting that wherever you go in the country, if a Democrat is in power you’re in misery, your safety is in jeopardy, your fellow countrymen are in poverty. Does it seem to make more sense now that in America, once the land of the free, there are +/- 48,000,000 people in poverty and on government assistance (subjugation), and 94,000,000 unemployed?

Can the Liberal afford for we, the common man, to prosper?

If we prosper, they don’t.

Who do you think the Liberal will choose in that case?

These are Liberals. This is Liberalism.

Newall: A few blocks from the DNC, tales from the city with the highest poverty rate among major U.S. cities

Richard Henry and Robert Jones took a break Tuesday from their maintenance jobs and sat on a ledge outside the Municipal Services Building to watch the protests that had overtaken the plaza.

From a stage, a woman crooned for the cheering crowd a shaky soul song – an original, it seemed: “Feeeel the Berrrnn.”

There was a Bernie supporter in a Superman costume and another in Bernie jammies. There was guy bearing a large wooden cross on his shoulder with the message, “Vote 4 Jesus.”

And there were some “Hillary for Prison” guys who seemed about ready to rumble with a few masked Communists.

Henry, 50, and Jones, 48, finished their cigarettes in the unforgiving heat. They had seen enough. Both work other jobs to survive; Henry works three. Neither has health insurance. They live in violent pockets of West Philadelphia. They had heard enough.

There are two cities in Philadelphia this week.

The one that has moved in for a few days – the media, the delegates, the protesters of all the stripes – and the one we live in every day. The one of contradiction and divide. The one with a downtown bursting with new growth and neighborhoods plagued by the highest poverty rate of any big city in the nation.

The one where working men like Henry and Jones sit on a bench in a Center City that is becoming shinier by the day and talk about the neighborhoods where they live. Neighborhoods just a few miles away that might as well be a universe away. Neighborhoods plagued by poverty and hunger – the types of issues that have not garnered nearly enough attention during this bizarre and frightening election.

God help us all if Donald Trump wins. But how is it that two nights into a Democratic National Convention held in a city where one out of four people lives in poverty http://www.inhandbag.com, where one of five children goes without enough food, where 700 people sleep on the streets each night, the words hunger or homelessness have barely been mentioned from the lectern, if at all?

When the circus leaves, we will remain, as will our problems.

It was a point not lost on David Brown. He sighed as he watched the protesters, wishing the crowds were clamoring for something else: the end of homelessness.

I know David, having written about him. For more than 20 years, he slept on benches on the Parkway or inside refrigerator boxes in a lot next to the Free Library. Three years ago, he finally accepted a Project HOME outreach worker’s plea to come inside. Now he lives in an apartment and manages a boutique.

Having seen enough, Brown left the protests and walked to the library, passing the benches where he once slept.

At the Free Library on Tuesday, Project HOME was holding its own DNC event, “Stories From the Margins.”

David talked about all those nights inside refrigerator boxes.

Ericka Brown, no relation to David, talked about the five years she lived on city streets and in shelters with her three children before she arrived at Project HOME. She now works for Project HOME as a digital literacy instructor. Her oldest is in college, while another child is thinking of joining the Air Force.

Nasir Fears, 21, of North Philly, talked about the seven years he said he spent off and on the streets after his family rejected him when he came out of the closet. How he is now working for Wawa and pursuing his nursing certification.

“I wanted my story to be heard,” he said.

They were the types of stories, the types of voices, that need to be heard this week amid all the speeches and the shouting.

Project HOME had invited delegates and press and anyone in town for the DNC to come hear the stories of former homeless people.

“There will be lots of speeches, lots of rhetoric this week,” said Sister Mary Scullion, the saint who runs Project HOME. “But so many voices will not be represented.”

A few dozen people showed up for Tuesday’s event at the library, but only a few press and six delegates came. No politicians made time for it.

TheStupidItHurts: The Baltimore Debacle

So. The travesty is finally over. At least for those of us who haven’t unjustly had their careers ruined, their lives threatened and their names run through the mud.

With regard to Freddie Gray, Liberals in Baltimore have dropped all charges on the remaining officers that would have been acquitted anyway, just like the ones that went before them.

Now what Liberals?

What nonsense will you spew out of your mouths now? Another conspiracy theory perhaps?

Did the Liberals in the DA’s office succumb to pressure from the right-wing media perhaps? Maybe Trump supporters scared them into submission? Is that what happened?

Well speak UP Liberals!! Tell us all about it! What lies, deceit and trickery will you try on us now? How will you try to incite the masses into violence now?

Do you believe Liberals want peace in the nation? If you do why do you believe it? What need would there be for Liberals and Liberalism if there were peace, prosperity and happiness??

How could Liberals continue to increase their political power and personal wealth if you don’t vote for them? Why would you vote for them if the nation is healthy?

Have you been watching the Democrat convention? Have you noticed how HORRIBLE the state of the Union is according to Liberals right now?

Who’s been in charge for the last 8 years?

You’re not a moron if you can’t see the truth, but you are a moron if you refuse to see it.

Freddie Gray case: Charges against three remaining officers dropped

Prosecutors dropped all remaining charges against three Baltimore police officers accused in the arrest and death of Freddie Gray in a downtown courtroom on Wednesday morning, concluding one of the most high-profile criminal cases in Baltimore history.

The startling move was an apparent acknowledgement of the unlikelihood of a conviction following the acquittals of three other officers on similar and more serious charges by Circuit Judge Barry G. Williams, who was expected to preside over the remaining trials as well.

It also means the office of Baltimore State’s Attorney Marilyn J. Mosby will secure no convictions in the case after more than a year of dogged fighting, against increasingly heavy odds, to hold someone criminally accountable in Gray’s death.

TheStupidItHurts: Resurgence of Reason

Democrat Alinskyite Liberals are busy chanting the mantra that police departments are systemically racist across the country and due to this racism black Americans are being murdered.

But the truth, the evidence , i.e., the reality, just as busily calls out these Democrat Liberals as being liars concerned not for justice for black Americans illegitimately killed by racist police officers, but rather as despicable charlatans using the death of black Americans to push an agenda to federalize those police departments.

Why do you believe what you believe? Do you have evidence to believe what you believe? If not, why not? If you don’t, shouldn’t you?

Is your evidence for what you believe valid or is it based on feelings, emotions or observations first filtered through a lens colored by your own presuppositions?

Baltimore officer acquitted of all charges in Freddie Gray case

BALTIMORE — A judge on Monday found the highest-ranking officer charged in Freddie Gray’s arrest and death not guilty on all counts, dealing a devastating blow to prosecutors, who have now tried four of the six officers initially indicted without winning a conviction.

Judge Barry G. Williams acquitted Lt. Brian Rice, 42, of manslaughter, reckless endangerment and misconduct in office after a week-long bench trial, finding that Rice didn’t commit a crime when he loaded Gray into a police transport van without seat-belting him. Gray suffered a fatal neck injury as he was being taken to a police station.

The verdict renews questions about whether the state should move forward with charges against the remaining officers or drop them altogether. Two of Rice’s co-defendants were recently acquitted, and a third is awaiting retrial after a jury deadlocked in his case in December. Another two officers are set to be tried in the coming months.

TheStupidItHurts: Stupid IS As Morons ARE

Some of you have objected to certain terms I use to describe Liberals and Liberalism. I perceive you may be thinking I apply such terms to you when I don’t.

Unless you are an idiot. Unless you are a moron. If you aren’t, then why are you complaining?

And if you are one or both of the above then there’s no help I can provide for you anyway. I pray that Yahveh will open your heart and mind.

I’m going to give you an example of moronic Liberalism in practice in just a second. You decide. Are you a one of these Liberal morons? Are you one of these Liberal idiots?

If you aren’t, then are you really a Liberal at all because what you’re about to see IS Liberalism folks!

*Are you “a  Liberal”, or are you merely “liberal”?* There’s a difference.

Starting at about 00:14 in the following video, Rachel Maddow of MSNBC along with “Lyin’” Brian Williams warns the audience that what they are about to see could be disturbing to some and perhaps they should consider tying their hands together or something in order that the little hair left on their pointed little Liberal heads wouldn’t be involuntarily pulled out when they saw this oh so disturbing sight!

What’s the disturbing sight? A shooting perhaps? ISIS cutting a Christian’s head off (oops, no that couldn’t be it, that might be beer time for Liberals)?

So then…what’s the maddening sight Maddow is so concerned may cause the loss of teeth, hair and eyeballs?

It’s the buttons…

Rachel Maddow Issues Trigger Warning About Anti-Hillary Buttons

Did you know that those evil, knuckle-dragging teabaggers actually think Hillary Clinton should go to prison, just because she indisputably broke federal law and endangered national security over a period of years, and got away with it because she’s too big to jail? And it gets even worse: Some of these drooling genetic anomalies even printed up buttons to reflect that twisted belief. Sick!

Courtesy of Newsbusters, here’s MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow explaining this disturbing development to Iraq War Medal of Honor recipient and Bin Laden assassin Brian Williams:

I thank Rachel Maddow for warning me beforehand that such despicable content might not be suitable for all viewers, and I applaud her for managing to get through this segment. Clearly she’s rattled and shocked by this show of disrespect to the woman who has lied to America for a quarter of a century.

Trigger warnings about the buttons…

Is this you?

No? Then stop being offended because it isn’t you I’m referencing, nay rather it’s the morons in the video above.

These are Liberals. This is Liberalism.

RE: TheStupidItHurts: Resurgence of Reason

Ah, my good friend, the Democrat Socialist Alinskyite Liberal, responds to this post below. I urge you to carefully read through his response. More than once if you have to.

What I want you to notice is the paranoia, the conspiracy, the irrationality, i.e., the pathetic sad psychological state of modern Liberals who believe in Liberalism. Notice the parroting of the movement. There’s no evidence of critical thinking on the part of Democrat Liberals. It’s all about the Cause and that’s it.

Friends, brethren, countrymen I hope you’ll listen to me. I hope you won’t doubt me.

This is your modern Democrat party. These are those who you will allow to rule over you if you vote Democrat.

These are Liberals. This is Liberalism.

Not guilty is not the same as innocent. Ask OJ.

Freddy gray had asthma, and was denied medical treatment. Those are the facts in evidence. That is negligence. Even if it did not rise over the obstacle of the bullshit legal definition of gross negligence it certainly should have.

Thrashing around from asthma convulsions? Just call it being rowdy and restrain him some more. Dead men can’t give their side of the story.

Want to kill someone in jail? Just feed them a Micky Finn of oral cannibus in their food or drink, prop their unconscious body up in a noose, and voila, suicide by hanging. Just say you have no idea how someone in jail got drugs in their system after weeks in your jail. Bonus: you get to blame the victim. Sandra bland. No grand jury will indict.

Perp runs away? Shoot to kill. Nevermind how trivial the offense he was running for. Oh Freddy gray did nothing at all but run, arrest him anyway. Hurt him enough putting the handcuffs on, and squirming from the pain is resisting arrest. Now you get to hurt him some more. Beat him into submission with nightsticks like Rodney King.

Cops aren’t racist, they’ll use excessive force on anyone, even your grandma. All they have to do is claim they thought you were reaching for a weapon whether you were or not, and they go scott free.

No knock warrant on the wrong house? They’ll shoot you anyway even if you think they are burglars kicking the door in and try and defend yourself.

Dead men can’t defend themselves in court. The judge only hears one side of the story. -Theirs.
