Whoopsie, I hate to say I told you so but…
Nearly 100,000 Coloradans to lose Obamacare coverage as insurers drop out, cut back, raise rates
More than 92,000 Coloradans will lose their Obamacare health care coverage in 2017 as four leading insurance companies scale back or eliminate their plans while others propose rate hikes of as much as 40 percent.
Insurance holders with individual plans through Anthem, United Health Care, Humana and Rocky Mountain Health Plans will need to find new coverage for the 2017 coverage year, according to a Monday statement from the Colorado Division of Insurance.
Insurance commissioner Marguerite Salazar described the upheaval as part of the “stabilization phase” as the state exchange, Connect for Health Colorado, enters its fourth enrollment year.
Indeed…100,000 individuals losing health care coverage they’re forced by law to purchase sounds “stabilizing” to Colorado families to me. How about you? Wouldn’t you feel “stabilized” if your children weren’t covered?
Rate hikes of 40%? Is that all? Pshaw…that’s nuthin’ brutha!
You Coloradans are getting out cheap:
Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas requests premium rate increase for 2017
The company notified the federal government it wants to increase rates for three separate individual plans by nearly 60 percent.
This is what you get when you vote Democrat.
These are Liberals. This is the misery of Liberalism.
